Thanny Mosima

Thanny Mosima founded Mosima Attorneys in July 2021.

His professional background includes working at  one of the big 5 law firms.
His experience includes , focusing on cross border transactions to name a few, advising Absa Group Limited on it’s acquisition of French Bank Socété Générale’s client portfolio, IT systems and all employees dedicated to these activities.

He also advised on a cross border transaction where a London Stock exchange listed entity was delisting and selling it’s shares to a JSE listed entity in return for shares of the JSE listed entity and  the listing of a London Stock exchange entity.

Thanny’s most recent work includes but is not limited to

• Advising a high profile international business man on a case involving business crime and forensics;
• Advising a construction company on it’s proposed deal with a large mining company;
• Advising a UN executive on a litigation claim against a party;
• Advising on a cross border transaction involving a sale of assets worth R25 million.
• Advising an international conglomerate on it’s acquisition of a target based in South Africa. 

Thanny has been named a global law expert 2024 in the practice of M&A by  international law firm ranking agency and he currently studying towards his post graduate diploma in corporate law at the University of the Witwatersrand.
